Senior Data Analytics Engineer
School Harbor | Remote within the United States | 40 hours per week | W2 or 1099 contract choice
Hourly rate: $47/hour starting
School Harbor is seeking a hands-on data professional who can independently build and maintain data pipelines, automate workflows, and deliver clear analysis and reporting. This role combines substantial data engineering work with analytics and direct client collaboration.
You will use AI, Python, SQL, and relational data models to turn messy data from multiple systems into reliable datasets and reporting. The role calls for technical depth, quick learning, and independent ownership of day-to-day delivery.
Preferred experience includes Azure databases, Azure Functions, Web Apps, Key Vault, and storage accounts, or deploying data workflows on AWS or GCP. JavaScript and TypeScript are useful for custom dashboards and web applications.
You should be ready to learn unfamiliar systems quickly, identify root causes, and move from investigation to a working solution with limited oversight. You will collaborate with teammates on priorities and difficult decisions while driving the day-to-day technical work independently. Moving quickly includes validating results and flagging risks before they affect reporting.
We are filling one opening and considering candidates at either the junior or senior level. The scope, support, and compensation will reflect the level at which we hire.
